Powell Clarks Fork Conservation District (PCFCD) can help you get your well water tested in 2 ways:

1) Homeowner Reimbursement

• PCFCD will pay 50% (up to $69.00) of the cost of the well water test.  The homeowner will fill out the cost-share agreement with PCFCD in our office.  Then, we will give the homeowner information on our analysis lab and on obtaining the test kit.  The homeowners will collect and deliver their water sample to the analysis lab in Billings. 

2) Rural Well Test Days

• The same procedure as above, but we supply test kits and deliver your samples to the analysis lab in Billings.
• The water analysis for well test days - checks for lead, nitrates, nitrites, and coliform bacteria (including Ecoli).
