Land Stewardship Program - Let's Make a Plan for your Land!
Managing a rural property requires knowledge about many different and diverse elements. PCFCD can help!
Through our land stewardship program classes, landowners are introduced to topics and resources that will help in developing a successful plan for their rural property.
Our class topics include:
- soil & plant health
- weed & pest management
- water rights & irrigation
- grazing
- wildlife habitat
- local agencies
- online resources for water quality, watershed, & well information.
The program is free for landowners in the PCFCD district. Landowners will attend two classroom sessions and a farm tour. Our 2026 program is:
- Saturday Sept 12th 9 AM - noon classroom session at the UW Extension Research Farm
- Saturday Sept 19th 9 AM - noon classroom session at the UW Extension Research Farm
- Saturday Sept 26th 10 AM - noon local farm tours
